Crewmembers from Air Station Houston pariciapted in an MD Anderson Hummer Run event by conducting a fly-over. After the crew landed they provided a static display of the helicopter and invited participants to explore the inner workings of a Coast Guard Dolphin helicopter. Hill, the son of Forest Hill an Alvin, Texas, Police Officer participated in the MD Anderson Hummer Run event. The day consisted of Hummer rides for the children, as well as games and demonstrations at Victory Camp. Shawn Gilcrease, coordinator of MD Anderson's Hummer Run, said the goal was to encourage the children to enjoy the day's events. "These kids go through things in one day that we will never experience. They are the true heroes and for this one day they get to feel like a normal kid," said Gilcrease.
