Coast Guard rescues stranded windsurfer |

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The Coast Guard rescued a windsurfer who was stranded on a range marker near Courtney Point in St. Andrew's Bay late Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 near Panama City. Coast Guard Sector Mobile received a report Saturday evening from a Good Samaritan reporting that they had rescued a windsurfer in the same area and needed Coast Guard assistance to find the another windsurfer who was still in the water. The windsurfer was located sitting on a range marker by the smallboat and transported the surfer to shore. ### Saving Lives and Guarding the Coast Since 1790.
