COAST GUARD CONTINUES WITH RESTRICTIONS |

Lake Charles, La. - The Lake Charles Pilots Association continue operations. The Port of Lake Charles/Calcasieu Channel is open to maritime traffic with a draft of 38-feet or less. Mariners are advised that aids to navigation may be off station and should exercise the slowest speed and use caution when transiting through the area. The Pilots' Association is responsible for guiding deep draft commercial ships, such as oil tankers and bulk carriers, through the ship channel.
